Let us pray!
“A greater love hath no man than to lay down his life for a friend”.
Rotarians are seldom called to this extreme measure, but we welcome the challenge to give of ourselves to serve others.
We do not look upon ourselves or our fellow Rotarians as hero’s. Rotarians give “Service Above Self” because we only wish to share some of how You have blessed us.
If we have been blessed with knowledge – Rotarians share that knowledge.
If You have given us talent – Rotarians share that talent. Rotarians are willing to give whatever they can beyond what we need.
We observe what is good, what is true, and what is beautiful to improve education, repair and restore health, resolve conflicts and promote peace because we know that it pleases You, our God.
All of us are equal in Your eyes and only need the chance to develop our fellow citizens as we have been blessed. We ask that You bestow Your grace upon us and all Rotarians to remember what You have given us to give to others.
